Leys Barn

The barn offers single-story accommodation for 5 people. There is 1 double bedroom with king-size bed, 1 twin bedded room and 1 single room. There is 1 bathroom and 1 shower room.

Relax in the open plan lounge/dining room which has a vaulted ceiling. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped spacious kitchen and there is also a separate utility room. The property has a large secure enclosed garden with a patio, lawns and ample off road parking spaces.

Visiting Bilden End & Exploring Essex

There are golf courses and fishing lakes in the local area just 5 miles away from our holiday cottage and several National Trust and English Heritage properties to visit. For children there is an open farm at Wimpole Hall and Linton Zoo is a short drive away. Stansted Mountfitchet Castle will also keep the youngsters amused for hours.

For history, culture and shopping, Cambridge is only half an hour's drive away. Visit the colleges, spend time in the museums, stroll in the Botanic Gardens, go punting on the River Cam and take in a film or go to the theatre. If the weather is good, wander down to Granchester and have afternoon tea in the orchard like the poet Rupert Brooke. If you have any energy left, London is only an hour away by train, and the Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk coasts can be easily reached for a day out by the sea. Further attractions to visit include:
