The Stables offers charming self catering accommodation in the village of Boreham Street. We are near Battle, 1066 country, making us the perfect place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Accommodation

Our cottage was the original stables and coach house of Boreham House and has been beautifully restored.

Our cottage is brimming with character and perfect for an unforgettable break away. On the ground floor there is an open plan living/dining room with an electric wood burner and a kitchen. Doors lead from the living area to a patio area with extensive grounds. This is the ideal place for a spot of al fresco dining. The main bedroom comes with a double bed and there is a bathroom which comes with both a bath and a separate walk in shower.

Upstairs there is a second bedroom in what was the hayloft of the stables which has twin beds. This can also be made into a superking double bed if required. The beds all come with luxurious handmade pocket sprung mattresses and sumptuous Egyptian linen. Flat screen HD TVs are in all the bedrooms and the living room.

Visiting Boreham Street & Exploring East Sussex

Hailsham is a vibrant and historic market town. Hailsham still boasts a variety of local and national shops, several supermarkets, a cinema, and leisure centre with swimming pool and bowling alley. The Observatory Science Centre is a great place for science fans. There are large interactive exhibits in the garden designed to be a ‘science play ground' to explore concepts such as force, movement, sound and the world of water. A variety of great attractions are nearby:
