Poundfield Cottages

Summary

Poundfield Cottages are a pair of self catering holiday homes in East Sussex and are only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Camber. Our 4 star holiday homes are approached via a private farm lane and are surrounded by lovely gardens with a private area for guests to enjoy. The holiday cottages are only a short drive from Rye where there is a train station and a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs to explore.

Bridle & Horseshoe Cottage

The holiday cottages have been carefully converted from old farm stables and can sleep up to 4 people per holiday cottage. Both of the holiday cottages are similar in size and layout and are centrally heated and double glazed. They both have a fully fitted kitchen/dining area and the living rooms also have a sofa that can be made into a double bed.

Both holiday cottages have 1 bedroom with an interlock bed which can be made as a twin or super king and an en suite shower room with an electric shower. All bed linen, duvets and pillows are included.

Our holiday cottages have attractive gardens with a set of table and chairs to use during your stay. Pets are welcome but must be under strict control at all times as there are sheep in the surrounding fields.

Local Area

The properties are a ten minute walk away from the beautiful sandy beach at Camber and three miles from the historic town of Rye. Other East Sussex resorts such as Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne and Lewes are within easy access as are the Kent towns of New Romney, Hythe, Canterbury and Dover.

The Channel Tunnel at Folkestone makes a day trip to France very easy and the local nature reserves and footpaths provide interesting excursions. Golf can be arranged at the nearby course at Lydd.

Rates: From £300 to £600 per week depending on season & cottage.
Maximum of 4 people in each cottage.
Pets are welcome as stated above, £25 per pet.
