Port-O-Spittal Bungalow is tastefully furnished throughout. The 4 star bungalow has its own garden and is surrounded by lush countryside. You will be able to see the sheep and cattle peacefully grazing.

The bungalow sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms: 1 double bedroom with shower en suite, 1 twin bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom (adult bunks). All beds are made before arrival.

You relax and unwind in the lounge. Facilities include open coal fire, TV, DVD and CD player. A large conservatory (adjoining the lounge) enjoys beautiful views. A fully equipped kitchen includes a range of excellent appliances: washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge and freezer. The kitchen leads to the dining room.

All bed linen, towels, electricity, fire fuel and oil are included in the tariff.

Visiting Portppatrick & Exploring Dumfires & Galloway

Portpatrick has 11 gardens and nurseries less than an hour’s drive from the village. These include the famous Logan Botanic Gardens. Dunskey Gardens is within walking distance. Northwards towards Ayr you can visit Culzean Castle or the Robert Burns Centre. Seals can often be seen on rocks close to the road near Lendalfoot. Many places to explore are nearby:

Local golf courses (Dunskey, Lagganmore, Creachmore and Wigtown County).
Beaches - from beautiful sandy beaches to adventurous rocks.
Fishing - lock, rock or sea trips or view the fish pond at Port Logan.
Pony trekking - enjoy a trek through the woods or along the sandy beach.
Train - enjoy the scenic route to Glasgow.
Ryan Centre - Swimming, health suite, gym or games courts are available.
