Belton House Holiday Home provides spacious self-catering accommodation in Wanlockhead, Scotland’s highest village. Set in an elevated position with stunning countryside views, this impressive country house offers the perfect base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. Our property sleeps up to 22 people, great for family gatherings, large groups, hen parties, birthdays and anniversary celebrations. The house is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of excellent facilities to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Inside the property, there are 7 attractive bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a master en suite and includes a king-size bed, single bed and bunk beds. Bedroom 2, 4 and bedroom 6 have double beds, whilst bedroom 3 and 5 have a double bed and bunk beds. Bedroom 7 has a double bed and futon bed.

Rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen which comes with a range of excellent appliances. You can enjoy some-cooked food around the dining table which seats 22 people. Facilities in the living area include LCD/Plasma TV, a log fire and DVD player. You can also enjoy the games room which has a pool table, arcade machine and Bluetooth Jukebox.

Soak away your troubles in the luxurious hot tub which boasts Bluetooth. A sauna and karaoke are also available. The family-friendly garden is large and there is also a children’s play area.

Nearby is the Leadhills General Stores which sells a range of essentials, including fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, homemade lasagne, chocolates, cigarettes, logs and much more. You can visit the award-winning Museum of Lead Mining which is just a 2-minute way away or wander around the amazing grounds at Drumlanrig Castle.
