Cecils View is a 3 bedroom house situated in the heart of the Isle of Whithorn. This is a village overlooking the harbour. The cottage has sea views both to the front and rear and parking for two cars. A lovely cottage for a relaxing break in a tranquil location at any time of the year.

About Cecils View

To the front of the house there is a living room with 3 seater and 2 seater couches and also an armchair, TV, DVD player, CD, and a gas fire. There are ample books, games, CD's and DVD's if required. Also downstairs there is a double bedroom with a double bed, featuring an original stonework fireplace. Both rooms overlook the harbour.

Coming from the living room, separated by Bi-folding doors, there is a large kitchen/dining room, with excellent sea view to the rear. It includes a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and a washing machine. There is also a small downstairs toilet and wash basin, leading off the kitchen.

There are two twin bedrooms with two single beds in each room. Both these rooms enjoy sea views to the front and rear of the property. There is a bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and walk in electric shower.

The cottage has gas central heating throughout.

To the rear of the property, there is an enclosed walled garden with parking for two cars

Visiting the Isle of Whithorn & Exploring Dumfries & Galloway

The Isle of Whithorn is a picturesque village situated in the South West tip of the Machars Peninsular in the South of Scotland.

The local hotel and restaurant situated on the Quayside is fully licenced and is only a two minute stroll from the cottage. There is also a tearoom and local shop/Post Office in the village selling newspapers, groceries, local crafts and jewellery. Both the hotel and tearoom are dog friendly and are open to non residents.

Children are welcome. A highchair is available.
Dogs are welcome by arrangement at a small additional cost.
Off street parking.
All beds have bedspreads and ample blankets. However, we do not supply bed linen or towels so guests will require to bring sheets and pillowcases.
