Colmer Farmhouse offers wonderful self catering accommodation in a 15th Century house situated in Marshwood, Lyme Regis in Dorset.
AccommodationThe farmhouse has many old features, oak beams, flagstone floors and an inglenook fireplace with a bread oven. There is a kitchen with AGA, fridge, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. A separate dining room is next to the kitchen.
The sitting room has an inglenook fire place, wood burning stove, television and ample sofas and easy chairs. Upstairs there are three large bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two single beds.
Visiting Marshwood & Exploring DorsetColmer sits at the top of the Marshwood vale and from the top of the drive there are stunning views across to the sea of Lyme bay. There are long or short walks in the immediate area. From Colmer it is an easy stroll to the local pub for good food and beer. In this area there are ample places to eat and drink just a short drive away. You can you Caribbean cuisine or pop to the coast for fish and chips.
There are lots of places to visit in the immediate area of this cottage. Forde Abbey is about 4miles away. It is a family run abbey with beautiful grounds and the abbey its self is steeped in history. Lyme Regis is an old fishing town full of character with plenty of things to do and see. Further along the coast you have the unspoilt fishing village of Beer.
