The Stone Barn

The barn is intimate and cosy and full of character with beautiful sea views. The kitchen is well equipped, and has solid beech worktops, ceramic halogen hob, fridge/ice freezer, butler sink with brass swan-neck taps, microwave with grill, kettle, toaster and coffee percolator. Note: The kitchen and living area are combined. There is no conventional oven. There is eco-underfloor heating throughout these areas. The bedroom has a double bed nestled under a window with full sea views, ample space and underfloor heating. The modern fully tiled bathroom has a shower, wc, vanity unit and heated towel rail. Your own large enclosed garden overlooks SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) down Seacombe valley towards the UNESCO World Heritage/Jurassic coastline and has magnificent sea views. Sorry, no pets in The Stone Barn.

The Studio

The Studio provides luxury self catering for two within a half an acre of enclosed garden with sea views. The Studio is a luxurious open plan property featuring an orangery which offers a relaxing light and airy living space from which to enjoy the outstanding country and sea views, overlooking the Jurassic coast. A feature wood-burner adds warmth and ambience for a romantic evening in. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed plus built-in double wardrobe, (no shortage of space) and vanity table. Oak flooring throughout. There is underfloor heating throughout the Studio, supplied by eco Air Source heat pump to power the underfloor heating and hot water. There is also a woodburner - a basket of logs is provided. In the utility room you can keep all those walking boots , wet coats, shopping, car stuff and bit & pieces out of the way. Plus there is a full length coat wardrobe, an integrated washing machine and sink. The fully marble tiled bathroom offers a walk in rain shower and separate bath, oak under-basin cupboard, heated mirror and heated towel rail. The Studio is pet friendly.

Extras

Linen and towels are provided. There is a weekly cleaning service. There is a garden and BBQ area in both properties.

There is plenty to see and do in the area, Worth Matravers is a rural village situated on the cliffs west of Swanage.
