Deer's Leap Retreat is perfect for families and groups looking for somewhere special to stay.

Downstairs the main lounge has 3 large, extremely comfy sofas arranged around an inglenook fireplace which contains a large wood burning stove. The lounge also has a smart TV. The snug area has a large inglenook fireplace containing a wood burning stove. It has a big comfy sofa, 2 winged back arm chairs and 1 squidgy arm chair. This room is perfect for those in your party who might like a bit of quiet time. A stereo is provided in the snug with an adaptor for iPods and MP3 players.

The dining room has 2 large oak tables that separately seat 21 or together in a T shape seat 18. Table cloths and mats are provided as well as candle sticks. There are 2 sets of china, one willow pattern and one plain white and all manner of glasses for dinner parties. The dining room also has a piano and looks out over the back garden.

Our large farmhouse kitchen is light and airy with a warm welcoming feel. It has an oil fuelled Aga which is on from mid Sept - end March. There is also a double electric fan oven with grill and 4 ring hob. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything from apple corer to food processor. You will also find cake tins, baking trays, a food mixer and a juicer. The kitchen has a table which seats 6 and 2 high chairs are provided for little ones.

Our holiday home has lovely bedrooms: All the bedrooms have been dressed individually. Each single bed has two pillows, each double bed has four. There are a mixture of feather pillows and hypo allergenic pillows throughout the house. All our linen is cotton. 3 of the bedrooms are ensuite and there is an extra 3 bathrooms for the house.

The Farmhouse has a private back garden with 2 hot tubs, a sauna, comfy sofas, tables and chairs and a large gas BBQ. We have a tennis court across the drive and our games room includes table tennis table, a pool table and a dart board.

West Anstey is the perfect base for exploring the local area. We have a unique and varied landscape, including some of the most stunning coastline and beaches to the most breath taking scenery of Exmoor. With excellent visitor attractions, superb restaurants, country pubs and tea rooms serving local produce, the choice of things to do is endless. Many great days out are nearby:

Visit Tarr Steps and Tearooms.
Explore Exmoor and Dunkery Hill.

Rates: From £3800 to £6100 per week, with shorter weekend and mid-week stays available.
The Farmhouse can sleep 19 people plus 2 extra guests on a comfy sofa bed in the snug. We can also provide z-beds and cots for children.
We have a separate self-catering cottage onsite which sleeps 2, please enquire.
Glamping tents are available during the summer, May – October. Each Bell Tent has a kingsize bed and private toilet, shower and camping kitchen facilities. You are welcome to bring children using camp beds if you wish. Please enquire for prices.
Up to 3 dogs are allowed to stay in the Farmhouse. These are £15 per dog per stay.
