Summary

Coombeshead Farm Cottages are a collection of self catering holiday homes on a non-working farm outside of Chudleigh in Devon. Our homes are within 25 acres of attractive and unspoilt countryside and are ideal for exploring Devon, enjoying the local beaches, walking and cycling or discovering Dartmoor.

About Coombeshead Farm Cottages

All the cottages have 2 bedrooms and a modern bathroom with a bath and electric shower. The sitting rooms have TV's and the kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator, electric cooker, microwave oven, washing machine and a comprehensive range of utensils and cutlery. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Cots, high chairs, stair gates and even dog baskets and leads are available on request. Babysitting service is also available.

Cider Cottage

Can accommodate up to 4 people. It has recently been fitted with a new kitchen and bathroom. There is also a sitting/dining room, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Stable Cottage

Can accommodate up to 6 people. It has a sitting room, a kitchen/dining room, newly fitted bathroom with bath and separate shower; bedroom 1 is a double and bedroom 2 is a family room with a double and 2 singles.

Swallow Cottage

Sleeps 6 people comfortably. It has a spacious beamed sitting room with a large kitchen/dining room, a new bathroom; bedroom 1 is a double, bedroom 2 is a family room with a double and 2 single beds.

Apple Cottage

Sleeps 2+2, as it has only one bedroom. However, it does have a double sofa bed in the living room so could sleep 2 more if needed. You can stay warm and toasty in front of the wood burner.

The holiday cottages have been converted from an L-shaped stone barn. Every effort has been made to retain the character and atmosphere of the original building whilst providing every comfort and convenience.

There are 25 acres of rolling Devon hills for you to enjoy with space for children to play and quiet spots to sunbathe and relax. A rope swing, swings, a trampoline and a slide are in the orchard. There are also very friendly pet goats, chickens and pigs to help feed. Off-road, car parking facilities are provided.

Visiting Chudleigh & Exploring Devon

The nearby Teign Valley has a number of pretty villages and it is less than 2 miles to the Dartmoor National Park. The beaches of Teignmouth, Shaldon and Torbay are a short drive away. The small town of Chudleigh is only 1 mile away, where you can find shops and a selection of good pubs. The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are easily accessible and provide a more extensive range of facilities for wet days.

Rates: From £240 - £600 per week depending on season.
Maximum of 18 people (When booking all 4 properties together). The largest property sleeps up to 6 people.
Children are welcome.
Pets are welcome in all except Apple Cottage.
