Heron's Lodge at Aune Cross provides wonderful self catering accommodation in a spectacular location. We are nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and enjoy stunning views of Bigbury Bay and Bantham Beach. We truly are perfect for an unforgettable coastal holiday in Devon.

Accommodation

Our delightful lodge sleeps up to 2 people, ideal for a romantic getaway in a magical location.

A well-equipped kitchen comes with an electric hob, separate oven, microwave and a fridge with a small freezer compartment, ensuring you have everything you need for cooking up a storm.

There is a lovely open plan double bedroom/living area with a TV. The en suite shower room has a WC and washbasin.

Visiting Aune Cross & Exploring Devon

We are less than a mile from the family-owned sandy beach at Batham, with its amazing dunes and river mouth. The village has a delightful pub, The Sloop, which offers great food, whilst the village store has a coffee shop. You can enjoy scenic cliff-top inland walks from the lodge. Roughly 3 miles away is the pretty town of Kingsbridge and beautiful Salcombe, Dartmouth and alternative Totnes are all accessible by car. Brilliant attractions to visit include:

Kingsbridge Estuary.
Soar Mill Cove.
Gara Rock beach.
National Trust - Overbeck's Garden.
Mill Bay.
