Beachcomber Cottage, Beer, nestles in a quiet, sunny spot with great views of the village. Itís just 4 minutes stroll to the beach and 1 minute from the main street with local shops, pubs and eateries. The cottage offers superb accommodation for 6, is well equipped, centrally heated and has a lovely garden that gets the sun most of the day. It is well located to explore the myriad of local attractions.
AccommodationThe sitting room has large comfy sofas, a 32íí LCD wide screen TV, DVD player and BT broadband. The kitchen is well equipped with automatic washing machine, hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, ironing facilities and a fridge. The dining table seats 6 people. There is a downstairs cloakroom with lavatory and hand basin.
Upstairs there is a bathroom with a shower over the bath, lavatory and hand basin. There are 3 bedrooms: two doubles and a twin. Facilities include a hair dryer and a TV.
The gated garden has lawns, borders and a seating area. It catches the sun most of the day and well into the evening and enjoys stunning views over the village to the hills. It has a table and chairs seating 6.
Visiting Beer & Exploring DevonThis picture postcard fishing village with a gurgling stream dancing along the main street to the beach, is snuggled in the rolling hills in East Devonís beautiful coastal scenery and drips nostalgia.
The horseshoe beach is the heart of the village, a natural sun trap surrounded by glistening white cliffs. It has clean waters, rock pools to explore at low tide, beach huts to hire, and beach cafes serving hearty breakfasts and home made treats. The cliffs form part of the South Devon coastal footpath and this area of the coast is a World Heritage Site due to the important fossils found here.
Beer is famous for its lace, stone and smuggling and is an ideal resort for families, couples and friends getting together. Enjoy the beach cafes, a fishing trip, a stroll along the coastal footpaths or a Devon cream tea! Visit Pecorama or the Beer Quarry Caves or the regency towns of Lyme Regis or Sidmouth. The City of Exeter just a 40 minute drive.
