AccommodationOur stunning holiday home is situated in 30 acres of lush woodland, making us the ideal place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of modern live. The property sleeps up to 4 people in a double and twin room. There is also a bathroom with suite and free standing shower.
The property boasts a fully equipped kitchen with a range of excellent appliances:
Nespresso coffee machine.
There is also a comfy sitting room with an original inglenook fireplace and bread oven, TV and DVD player. Guests can wine and dine on an elegant six person dining room table.
Outside there is a spacious south facing garden with a summer house made from home grown oak and a terrace and BBQ for you to enjoy. This is the perfect place for a spot of al fresco dining.
Visiting Hollocombe & Exploring DevonOur accommodation is down a private drive next to Hollocombe Water. Being surrounded by so much woodland means there are a plethora of walks nearby, waiting to be explored. Our rural location also offers a habitat for plenty of wildlife. We have our own nest boxes for owls and pied fly catchers, so look out for them during your stay.
In nearby Winkleigh we have an excellent general store, post office, butcher, two public houses and tea shop. A farm shop is within two miles. Saunton village is approximately two miles from Braunton on the North Devon coast. Its beach 'Saunton Sands', is part of the Taw Torridge Estuary which forms part of one of the only UNESCO biosphere reserves in the UK. Exmoor is also nearby and includes stunning landscapes, wilderness and tranquillity.
