Castle Barton at Tiverton Castle is a self-catering holiday home that dates back to the 1840’s when it was originally a farmhouse built within the castle walls. Our holiday cottage can sleep up to 6 people and is one the loveliest houses in Tiverton.

Our property has been extensively refurbished and is a comfortable and relaxing place for a family to stay while exploring Devon.

The bedrooms at the property are made up of a double bedroom with zip and link beds that can be set up as a double/twin (depending on your requirements), a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. All of the bedrooms have their own en suite facilities.

What better way to end the day than relaxing in the sitting room where there is a TV & DVD player in front of the open fire. Our cottage also has a dining room with antique furniture, study with TV, cloakroom with WC and washbasin and a fully equipped kitchen/breakfast room with a 15th Century arrow slit window. There is also a washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

If the weather is nice you can enjoy sitting in the self-contained garden and enjoy your morning coffee or a BBQ on those sunny afternoons.

Visiting Tiverton & Exploring Devon

Our apartment is a stone`s throw from the centre of the historic market town where there are an array of shops and restaurants. There are many nearby village pubs we can recommend serving excellent food. We can also advise on many local attractions to suit all tastes. There is easy motoring access to Exmoor, Dartmoor, Exeter and North and South coast beaches.

There are tennis courts, a swimming pool and a Leisure Centre nearby.
