Visiting Salcombe & Exploring DevonIdeally situated overlooking the estuary and within two minutes walk of the town centre, shops, restaurants, quays and ferries. We boast outstanding views over the harbour and estuary towards Southpool, East Portlemouth and the countryside beyond.
Salcombe is a small fishing town in the South Hams district of Devon, located between Dartmouth and Plymouth. The town is located close to the mouth of the Salcombe and Kingsbridge Estuary and lies within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
A variety of beautiful sandy beaches are easily accessible from the town on both sides of the estuary. A frequent ferry service is available throughout the year to access the other side of the estuary for some family fun on the beach or to enjoy one of the many coastal walks.
Salcombe is home to many particularly good pubs and restaurants and also to a vast range of shops and art galleries.
