Winnow Barns are set in a tranquil hamlet surrounded by the stunning landscape of the Peak District National Park. These traditional barns, which date back to the 1700s, have been thoughtfully and carefully converted into luxurious holiday accommodation. The conversion has preserved the charm and character of the original buildings, using traditional materials to maintain their historic feel, while incorporating all the comforts and conveniences expected of modern living. This converted barn offers four characterful bedrooms, each with its own en-suite facilities. The spacious open-plan living, kitchen and dining area is located upstairs to make the most of the stunning countryside views and features a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and a log-burning stove, perfect for cosy evenings in. The country-style kitchen is well-equipped with excellent cooking facilities, including a large double oven range cooker, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large American style fridge/freezer. Three of the bedrooms are fitted with king-sized beds, while the fourth offers a super king-sized bed that can be configured as two singles if needed. Furnished to a high standard throughout, Winnow Barn includes crisp white bed linen and luxurious fluffy white towels for a comfortable stay.

Winnow Stables is a character-filled barn that has been sympathetically converted from a traditional Derbyshire limestone milking parlour into luxurious holiday accommodation. The open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, all on one level, retains its original vaulted ceiling, exposed wooden beams and beautiful stonework. There is a corner woodburning stove creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The country kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and washing machine, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. Just one step leads up to the two bedrooms, both featuring exposed beams and traditional lime plaster walls. One bedroom has a king-sized bed, while the other offers a king-sized bed that can also be arranged as two singles. Each bedroom includes its own en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower. Throughout the property, furnishings are of a high standard, with crisp white bed linen, fluffy towels, Free-Sat TV, Wi-Fi and central heating all provided for a relaxing and enjoyable visit.

Step outside to your own private terrace, complete with patio furniture, a lovely spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or unwind with a glass of wine as the sun sets over the surrounding fields.

Our eco-friendly, wood-fired hot tub offers a peaceful spot to unwind while taking in stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Set apart from the holiday cottages, it can be booked as an optional extra for those who wish to enjoy a more indulgent experience. Overlooking ancient meadows, it's the perfect place to relax in the soothing bubbles, soak up the natural beauty and, on clear nights, admire the breathtaking starry sky. We provide all the logs needed to heat the tub, which retains its warmth for two to three hours once it reaches temperature. A separate fee applies, as we want to give guests the choice to opt in only if they’d like to use it.
