Sparrow Cottage in Waterhouses offers charming self catering accommodation. We are based in a tranquil area of Derbyshire and ideally placed for exploring the area.

Accommodation

Our house sleeps up to 6 people and is tastefully furnished throughout for a relaxing stay.

Inside we have a lounge with a sofa, chair and a smart TV. You can also relax in the light-filled conservatory. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances including an electric oven and induction hob and dishwasher.

On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 double), plus a bathroom and shower. A further flight of stairs leads to a third twin room.

Outside we have a secure lawned garden with a patio and garden furniture for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. A BBQ is provided.

Visting Waterhouses & Exploring Derbyshire

We are perfect for exploring the village of Waterhouse which has a village shop, take-away cafe, village shop and a traditional pub. The Manifold Trail is perfect for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Only 2.5 miles away is the Peak Wildlife Park. Attractions to visit include:

Alton Towers.
Chatsworth House.
Shugborough.
Little Moreton Hall.
Thor’s Cave.
