It is located approximately one and a half miles north of Buxton which is well known for its spa water, its good selection of eating places and its Edwardian Opera House, Georgian Crescent and Victorian Pavilion Gardens.

Audrey's at Barms Farm offers a quality experience, most appreciated by those who require spacious accommodation of a high standard. Quality fixtures and fittings have been positioned with thought and consideration for the users and there has been much attention to detail in a quest to strive for guest comfort and satisfaction. It is managed & cleaned by the owners who live at the nearby farmhouse who go the extra mile in personally ensuring that the property is kept spotlessly clean.

Accommodation

Off the bright and airy oak floored hall are two large double bedrooms with very comfortable five foot wide beds, plump pillows and duvets, quality bed linen, ceiling mounted paddle fans, ample storage and spacious en suite facilities of exceptional quality. Audrey’s sleeps up to a maximum of four adults within the two double rooms.

Both bedrooms have identical en suites with long, extra deep baths in which you can relax those tired muscles after exploring the peaks and dales at the end of the day. In contrast, the corner shower cubicles will invigorate you at the start of the day. You will find the illuminated vanity units with deep basins and lots of storage for your toiletries very useful and will welcome the underfloor heating and thick bath sheets & towels on the towel warmers during the cooler months of the year.

The south facing spacious lounge with gas living flame fire set within a Derbyshire stone fireplace is a pleasant room for relaxation. There are numerous digital television and music channels available on the large flat screen television in the lounge and lots of tourist information, maps and walks for you to borrow during your stay. Wi-Fi is freely available throughout the whole property

Audrey's well equipped dining kitchen includes a Neff electric oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. It has a small breakfast bar plus a dining area with table and seating for four, adjacent to French doors opening onto the rear garden.

A washing machine is accommodated in the utility room from where doors lead to the cloakroom, a rear door and patio area and to the integral storage/drying area complete with small chest freezer, which has ample drying and a spacious storage area for bikes, walking boots, golfing equipment, etc.

A 20% “Just for 2” discount is available on full weekly stays of 7 nights subject to 2 adults using only one of the en suite bedrooms with full exclusive use of the rest of the property.

Short breaks of three or 4 nights are available out of season and occasionally at other times too. Friday is the weekly changeover day and all bookings include a small welcome pack in the property on arrival.

Visiting Fairfield & Exploring Derbyshire

Centrally located, not at all remote, it is ideal for visiting the numerous Derbyshire attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Castleton and for exploring the beautiful Peak District and Derbyshire Dales.
