East Lodge offers excellent self catering accommodation in the market town of Bakewell. Situated in the Peak District National Park, our property boasts views across the meadow and is a great base for exploring Derbyshire.

Accommodation

Our charming cottage sleeps up to 4 people and is a lovely place to stay for a peaceful break away. A comfortable sitting room comes with two sofas, an original wooden floor, log burner, TV and DVD player.

The pretty dining/kitchen is well equipped and has a Belfast sink, electric oven, gas hobs, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, painted dresser and table and chairs. A separate utility area has a washing machine, dryer and freezer.

On the first floor there are two attractive bedrooms: a double and twin room. The large bathroom has a shower, bath, basin and WC.

Outside to the front of the cottage there is a delightful paved garden with wonderful views across the meadow. There is a table and chairs and a barbecue. To the rear of the cottage are two parking spaces, an enclosed yard and a shed suitable for bike storage.

Visiting Bakewell & Exploring Derbyshire

Bakewell is within easy reach of some of the most stunning stately homes and finest scenery in the country. Chatsworth House houses beautiful paintings and period furniture. Thornbridge Brewery includes bottled varieties and cask ales. Tours last 1 hours and take you behind the scenes and include tastings in Thornbridge glasses. A range of superb attractions are in the local area:
