Visiting Ennerdale Bridge & Exploring The Lake District

The cottage is located in the heart of the village. Fifty metres away is the village pub and the Shepherds Arms Hotel which serves wonderful meals. There is an excellent child’s playground 100 metres down the road, just over the bridge.

The Lake District National Park is always popular with walkers and cyclists due to the variety of scenery on offer. Ennerdale provides low level lakeside and forest walks as well as routes onto the high fells. Alfred Wainwright’s Coast to Coast Long Distance Path passes right past the front door and follows the length of Ennerdale. The C2C Cycle Path is also nearby and is great for safe, off road cycling.
