Summary

Manesty is in Borrowdale in the heart of the Lake District. We are 5 miles from the market town of Keswick, less than a mile’s walk from Derwent Water and less than a mile from the little hamlet of Grange.

Our cottages and glamping accommodation sleep from 2 to 8. As well as week-long stays from either Fridays or Saturdays (arrival day depends on the accommodation), we also offer short breaks from Mondays for 4 nights or from Fridays for 3 nights in some of the accommodation. Set in about 2 acres of well-tended gardens and grounds our accommodation has wonderful views towards the fields, woodland and fells of Borrowdale. We offer reduced prices in the larger cottages for smaller parties.

Manesty has been our family’s home for 6 generations. Our family has a long history of welcoming visitors to the Lakes and we are proud to continue the tradition. Our accommodation is summarised below and is explained on our website in detail.

In the interests of our customers, we have a no smoking policy, both inside and in the garden and grounds, and we do not accept any pets.
