Four Oaks House - Four Oaks Estate offers luxurious self catering accommodation in the village of Cargo. Our Cumbrian house is perfect for exploring Carlisle and a range of attractions in the area.

Accommodation

Our house sleeps up to 16 people and is finished to a high standard to suit all your needs. The property has a private car park and parking is available for up to 4 large cars. Further parking may be available.

Inside we have a utility room and a well-equipped kitchen and dining area with granite work surfaces and a range of appliances including a fridge freezer, electric fan-assisted oven, ceramic hob, toaster, kettle and microwave. The dining table seats up to 12 people.

At the other end of the kitchen/diner is a living area with seating, a large 55’’ wall-mounted HD smart TV, a DVD player an electric fireplace.

In total, there are 7 bedrooms available. All the bedrooms are individually designed and include fresh bed linen and fluffy towels. Apart from the bunk room, the beds can be made as twin or super kings. 5 bedrooms have en suite facilities and two of the bedrooms share a bathroom.

Upstairs we have a playroom which is perfect for children and includes a 55’’ HD smart TV, 7-foot pool table, a full-size air hockey table, a children’s electric car, a play tent and much more.

Outside we have a high-quality Astroturf which features 4-hole miniature crazy golf. Outside there is a garden where children can play and a large decking area with a state-of-the-art hot tub to soak yourself in, offering 6 seats, 120 jets and LED lights. A gazebo over the hot tub is ideal for those rainy days.

Visting Cargo & Exploring Cumbria

We are ideally placed for exploring the area. In the village, there is a children’s park with a play area and park toys. Only 10 minutes away there is a brilliant shopping outlet in Gretna Green. Blackdyke Farm is nearby and offers horse riding and a swimming pool. Attractions to visit include:

Cumbria's Museum of Military Life.
Kirklinton Hall and Gardens.
Cumberland Bird of Prey Centre.
