Accommodation

Our wonderful property is an annex joined onto the owner’s farmhouse, based in a glorious countryside setting. The Stables is tastefully furnished and comes with everything you need for a relaxing country escape.

Inside there is a lovely kitchen/lounge area to suit all your needs. The kitchen is well-equipped and patio doors lead out onto an enclosed private south-facing garden with seating and a BBQ for al fresco dining. You can soak away your troubles in the luxurious hot tub.

Upstairs there is a super king room, whilst bedroom 2 has a king-size bed and single bed. Both the super king and king beds can be split into singles. All the bedrooms have en suite shower rooms. Downstairs there is a further single bunk bed bedroom.

Visiting Blackford & Exploring Cumbria

The delightful village of Blackford is nestled on the edge of Carlisle and is in the ideal location for exploring the Lake District, Scottish Borders and Hadrian’s Wall. Carlisle Airport is only 15 minutes away and we are just a 10-minute walk from a regular bus route. Superb attractions to visit include:
