On the ground floor, there is an open plan living/dining room with an oak floor, large dining area, comfy sofa & armchairs. This is a great spot to unwind whilst savouring the views of Pendragon castle. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped hand built kitchen that includes a Westmorland green stone worktop, butler sink, electric cooker with oven, microwave, under-counter fridge with freezer box, kettle, toaster, washing machine and stone flag floor.
The first floor has a large double room with exposed beams, an oak floor and king size bed. A further twin room comes with an original beam, oak floor and built-in storage. Downstairs there is a shower room with a walk-in shower.
Outside there is an enclosed garden with a seating area and a BBQ for al fresco dining whilst the sun is shining.
This part of the country has lots of picturesque walks to enjoy, offering the perfect way to admire the scenery. You can see the historic castle and hidden waterfalls or enjoy wild swimming. The market town of Kirkby Stephen is 4 miles away and home to pubs, restaurants, tearooms and shops. You can also enjoy a scenic ride on the Settle to Carlisle railway journey, accessible from Kirkby Stephen station. Attractions to visit include:
