Accommodation

Our delightful cottage is great for a spontaneous getaway in a lovely part of the country. The cottage sleeps up to 3 people, including a put me up bed for a 3rd guest.

You can relax in the cosy living room after a day in the countryside. Unwind on the comfy sofas whilst watching your favourite show on the smart TV which includes satellite and Netflix. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances for home-cooking. A kitchen table is also available.

A lovely double bedroom comes with a comfortable bed for a peaceful night’s sleep. The bathroom has a shower and WC. All linen and towels are included.

Visiting Allonby & Exploring Cumbria

We are in a fantastic position for exploring the Lake District and the Border country. Just 15 minutes away is the charming town of Cockermouth, home to Cockermouth Castle, Wordsworth House, Castle House Gallery and a range of further attractions. Keswick, Ambleside and Windermere are all accessible by car and you can also visit the border city of Carlisle and Gretna Green. Great attractions to visit include:

Derwentwater.
Castlerigg Stone Circle.
Derwent Pencil Museum.
Walla Crag.
Skiddaw.
