On the ground floor is a lounge/dining room with a two seater sofa, two arm chairs, table and chairs, electric fire, flat screen television, DVD player, Hi-Fi system and iPod doc. An ideal place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the local area. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a range of excellent facilities: gas hob, electric oven, laundry facilities, fridge, microwave, toaster and liquidizer.
On the first floor is the main bedroom which includes a king size bed, 2 bedside tables with lamps, radio alarm clock, built in wardrobe and large set of drawers. Excellent views can be enjoyed from here. To the rear of the property is a twin bedroom with 2 full single beds, lamps, built in wardrobe and set of drawers. Guests use a bathroom which has a full size bath with shower and toilet.
Outside the gardens offer an excellent place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Views across to Blencathra and the Northern Fells can be savoured. There is plenty of seating around the gardens.

Visiting Skelton & Exploring CumbriaPottery Cottage is on the edge of the Lake District National Park and about 4 miles from Caldbeck and the peaceful Northern Fells. This makes us ideally situated for exploring the Northern Lakes, Scotland and the North East. The beautiful lake Ullswater is a short drive away, offering a choice of activities, boating, walking, kayaking and much more.
Penrith is 10 minutes by car, where you will find all you need from speciality shops to major businesses. Carlisle with its excellent shopping, museum, theatre and its very own Castle are all 30 minutes away. Keswick is also nearby with its very own "children's mountain" Cat Bells, rewarding you with spectacular views of Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake.
