AccommodationOur property is a beautifully restored old cottage that retains many original features such as the stone-flagged floor. It has a warm and cosy feel with the additional comfort of a wood-burning stove (wood provided) which makes it the ideal place to unwind and relax with friends or family.
The open plan ground floor area is extremely spacious, with a fully fitted kitchen, beautiful Victorian pitch pine dining area, and comfortable lounge area with a TV, DVD player, books and games for entertainment. The original pitch pine stairway leads up to two bedrooms: one double and one twin room. Both rooms share a modern bathroom with both a bath and shower.
All towels and bedding, electricity and central heating costs are included for your stay.
Outside there is a delightful courtyard with a seating area, perfect for a drink or two in the afternoon sun.
Visiting Brough & Exploring CumbriaOur superb holiday home is in the perfect position to enjoy Cumbriaís countryside. In the village, there are several good restaurants and a fish and chip shop. A small grocerís shop is just across the road. The Eden Valley has many beautiful gardens, castles, sheep and rainbows. The cottage offers easy access to the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, Teesdale, Durham, Angel of the North, Metro Centre, Leeds and York, Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall.
