Silver How is a traditional 18th Century, stone built, cosy, warm and well appointed cottage. Located in quiet 'Old Ambleside', on the slope above the 'new' Victorian village, Silver How is only 200 yards from the village centre.

Accommodation

Well equipped kitchen: Electric cooker, microwave, toaster, washing machine, fridge.

Tastefully refurbished living/dining room: Open fire (coal in the shed). As an alternative an electric fire is available. Freeview flat screen TV, DVD player, radio. Free Wi-Fi.

Cellar: Table tennis table. Tumble drier and deep freeze. Spare waterproofs. Suitable for storage of outdoor equipment and walking gear. Separate door access to frontage.

Bedrooms: Each double bedroom has a wardrobe, dressing table, reading lights and views towards Heron Pike.

Bedroom 1: King size double bed, duvet, hairdryer. Small TV and DVD combined.

Bedroom 2: Twin beds, duvets.

Bunk bedroom: Full sized single bed bunks (3ft) suitable for a single adult or 2 children.

Bathroom: Pump shower over bath, washbasin, shaver point.

Separate WC: With washbasin.

Outside: A stable door in the kitchen leads to a small sitting out area in the enclosed rear yard, containing a small table and two chairs.

Visiting Ambleside & Exploring Cumbria

Perfectly located and at the heart of the Lake District, there are beautiful walks to Scandale, Fairfield, Loughrigg Fell and Wansfell which can start and finish at the front door. Windermere, Rydal Water and Grasmere are all within walking distance. Ambleside is the perfect holiday centre with its many shops, restaurants and cinemas, yet just 2 mins away from the peaceful fells.
