Acorn Apartments

Summary

Acorn Apartments consists of two holiday properties within a 5 minutes walk of the town centre of Keswick on Derwentwater in the Northern Lake District. The properties are two purpose made apartments, one ground and one first floor, both of which have off-road parking and all modern amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Accommodation

Each property has a large lounge with an LCD TV and DVD player. A separate kitchen comes with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washer/dryer. There are two comfortable bedrooms - a king-size room and a twin which sleep 2 to 4 people (there is a cot available if needed) - and a bathroom with a bath with shower over, WC and sink.

Both apartments are fully centrally heated, with gas and electricity for all heating and cooking fully inclusive in the price. All bed linen is supplied and the apartments are cleaned thoroughly before each visitor arrives.

There is private parking for each apartment and a patio area enabling you to take advantage of the sunshine. There is a secure lock-up for bikes.

Both apartments are available year-round with short breaks out of season. The properties are identical and therefore the images represent both luxury apartments.

All our self catering accommodation is owner maintained and the owners are on hand at all times. Cleanliness is guaranteed. We are afraid we do not accept pets and the properties are strictly no smoking.

Visiting Keswick & Exploring Cumbria

Located in the Northern Lake District, Keswick is only 18 miles away from the M6, but a world away from the ever-increasing pace of the rat race. Here you can relax and enjoy the contrasting attractions of a lively holiday town and magnificent surrounding landscape, where even at the height of the season you can still find peace and tranquillity.

Situated on the Northern shores of Derwentwater, Keswick has many attractions - a famous theatre, museums and galleries, fascinating shops for browsing and buying, restaurants and cafes offering everything from chips to cordon bleu!

Water sports, golf, walking, mountain biking, climbing and pony trekking are just a few of the activities to enjoy in the natural beauty of Keswick's surrounding countryside.

Within 8 miles there are five of the most beautiful Lakeland lakes - Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite, Thirlmere, Buttermere and Crummock Water. These are easily approached either by car or even the local buses.

For those who prefer a less energetic holiday, there are regular cruise trips on Derwentwater, bus tours of the area, and the area boasts many fine houses and gardens, with links such as Wordsworth and Southey ...In other words, something for everyone, all year round!
