About Waterloo Farm CottagesIf you are looking for a place where you can escape from hectic everyday life for a while, then look no further, your search has ended! Our farm is a place which is packed with things to do and see, all set amid the timeless beauty of the Cornish countryside.
Saffron Cottage: Sleeps 4 and is tucked away in the corner of the courtyard. It has a country theme throughout but with up to date facilities. You will find slate floors, beams and underfloor heating. French doors open out onto a patio which is ideal for enjoying leisurely meals outside, and a small sloping garden attracts bees and butterflies and also sometimes, our friendly trio of hens looking for crumbs!
Haypole Barn: The largest holiday barn, full of charm and character. The inspiration for the name of this cottage is the Hay Pole, now a decoration in the living room, but was used by Great Grandfather to lift hay to the top of the rick in the farm yard in days of old. This cottage can be opened up on the ground floor to link through to Sandmartins next door, creating a 16 person holiday barn.
Kingfisher Cottage: A well appointed cottage offering family accommodation on one level. Two bedroomed, with one king size bed plus a twin room with gallery bed space above. Kingfisher Cottage has many special features making it accessible for disabled visitors, including wheelchair users (National Accessibility Inspected). It has a balcony overlooking its own secluded garden and wonderful country views.
Sandmartins: Another large cottage with an airy and light open plan living area. French doors open out onto a private, sunny patio which is perfect for barbecuing and al fresco eating. Upstairs are two double en suite shower rooms and a room with bunk beds. The downstairs double bedroom has an en suite wet room & is suitable for those with mobility problems.
The Old Apple Tallet: A characterful cottage with a wood burner and a well equipped kitchen. The cottage has two bedrooms (1 double and 1 bunks with single). There are lots of interesting touches in the cottage; such as oak beams and a bird nesting box set into a bedroom wall with viewing window.
Swallow Barn: Kingfisher Cottage is a well appointed cottage offering family accommodation on one level. Two bedroomed, with one King size bed plus a twin room with gallery bed space above.
