Kerenza and Demelza are two modern apartments designed to accommodate up to four guests, perfect for a sophisticated stay in St Ives. Our recent reception and shop redevelopment gave us the opportunity to create these stylish new additions. Positioned above reception but accessed through private external entrances, both apartments offer high-quality two-bedroom accommodation with contemporary décor, far-reaching views and private outdoor spaces.
Kerenza provides everything you need for a self-catering holiday in St Ives, including its own private garden. The master bedroom features a luxurious Hypnos kingsize bed, while the second bedroom has twin beds that can be converted into a superking. There is also room for a cot if required. The kitchen area and master bedroom enjoy views across the fields to the sea and the floor-length window in the living room frames a striking outlook of Knill’s Monument and the Atlantic. The open-plan living room is furnished with a 43” Samsung Smart TV and comfortable sofas, ideal for cosy evenings. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals with local produce and the bathroom offers indulgence with a freestanding bath, complete with a Bluetooth speaker for your favourite music.
Demelza offers luxurious, welcoming accommodation with views towards the sea from both the master bedroom and kitchen. Like Kerenza, the master bedroom has a Hypnos kingsize bed, while the second bedroom has twin beds that can convert into a superking, along with space for a cot if needed. The open-plan living room has a 43” Samsung Smart TV and inviting sofas and the kitchen is thoughtfully equipped, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas to enjoy meals together. Demelza has been designed with accessibility in mind, making it suitable for guests with wheelchairs and offering M2 accessibility features. The bathroom includes grab rails around the toilet and shower, ensuring comfort and ease of use. After a day of exploring, guests can unwind in the bath while music plays through the Bluetooth speaker. Another bonus is that Demelza is dog-friendly, so you can bring your pet along to enjoy the touring park’s exercise field and outdoor dog shower.
During the peak season, guests staying in Polmanter’s self-catering accommodation can enjoy the facilities of the award-winning touring park. These include the outdoor swimming pool, evenings at the Stable Bar, and indoor and outdoor play areas for children. At other times of year, guests can still enjoy the peaceful and rural surroundings, perfect for a relaxing holiday in Cornwall.
Polmanter is the perfect base for exploring West Cornwall. Just a mile and a half from the postcard charm of St Ives, it offers a rural and tranquil setting, while the A30 is only a short ten-minute drive away. For those who prefer to leave the car behind, the area can easily be explored by bus, rail, bike or on foot.
The far west of Cornwall, known as Penwith, is rich in attractions and experiences. From the world-famous St Michael’s Mount and the dramatic cliffside Minack Theatre to reminders of the region’s mining heritage, there is so much to discover. The area also boasts some of Cornwall’s most stunning beaches and coastal paths, offering breathtaking scenery at every turn.
