Set in the beautiful countryside overlooking St Ives, Polmanter combines award-winning facilities with a warm Cornish welcome. Onsite is a touring park, but we also offer self-catering accommodation.
Senara and Morwenna are two cottages, renovated into beautiful self-catering properties that sleep up to six guests, with landscaped gardens and hot tubs. Both cottages feature an open plan kitchen, dining and living room, landscaped gardens with a hot tub available at an additional charge and two dedicated car parking spaces which include a 7kW electric car charging socket.
The cottages are dog-friendly, with space for up to two well-behaved dogs at £35 per dog per week, making them perfect for four-legged family members. The main difference between the two is the layout. Senara is a three-bedroom property, ideal for adding an infant in a cot, with two bathrooms on one level. Morwenna is a two-storey cottage with two en-suite bedrooms.
During the peak season, guests staying in Polmanter’s self-catering accommodation can enjoy the facilities of the award-winning touring park. These include the outdoor swimming pool, evenings in the Stable Bar, and indoor and outdoor play areas for children. At other times of the year, guests can still enjoy a peaceful holiday in tranquil, rural surroundings.
Polmanter provides an ideal base to discover West Cornwall. Located just a mile and a half from postcard-perfect St Ives, it feels delightfully rural and remote, yet the A30 is only a ten-minute drive away. Guests can also leave their car behind and explore the area by bus, rail, bike or on foot.
The far west of Cornwall, known as Penwith, offers a wealth of attractions and places to discover. From the iconic St Michael’s Mount and the spectacular Minack Theatre to historic mining heritage, this area is also home to some of Cornwall’s finest beaches and most breathtaking coastal walks.
