Granny's Cottage provides charming self catering accommodation in the heart of St Ives. Our property in Cornwall is only a 2-minute walk to the town centre, the harbour, the Tate Gallery and Porthmeor Beach.
AccommodationThis beautiful cottage dates from 1851 and still retains many original features whilst offering excellent accommodation. The beamed cottage sleeps up to 4 people.
Downstairs there is a delightful kitchen/dining area which leads to the lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs: electric cooker, fridge, microwave, ironing board and iron. The cosy lounge includes comfortable seating, a TV and DVD player. A lovely place to relax with a good book or a cup of coffee.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms: a double and a twin. Both rooms share a downstairs bathroom which comes with a shower over the bath. A separate WC is also available. All bed linen is supplied.
Visiting St Ives & Exploring CornwallSt Ives is blessed with a range of gorgeous beaches, with the main beaches within walking distance of the town. The St Ives branch of the Tate Gallery features contemporary art and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden houses a variety of stunning sculptures. St Ives Harbour has a range of cafes and restaurants and its also worth taking a stroll along Smeatonís pier. Brilliant attractions in the area include:
