Arriving through the gates into the drive, it’s hard not to be wowed by this impressive building. There is plenty of parking and a private entrance from the stunning decked terrace which overlook’s rolling Cornish countryside.

This unique property has been thoughtfully decorated and refurbished throughout, providing a beautiful space to rest, relax and recuperate. Inside you will find hints of its mining heritage, along with comfortable living spaces. Amenities and features include:

A pair of new mountain bikes and helmets are supplied for guests to use. Please ensure you are a competent rider and understand they are used at your own liability.

There is plentiful parking and a private entrance from the stunning decked terrace which overlook’s rolling Cornish countryside. The beautiful mature gardens are very special with a profusion of specimen plants and numerous secret areas to escape too with only the sound of birdsong to break the silence. There is even a mini golf putting course to while away an afternoon!

Visiting Marazion & Exploring Cornwall

The area is a world heritage site and surrounded by stunning countryside and coast. Although tucked away the engine house is only five minutes to Marazion and its glorious beach. Travelling East its under ten minutes to Perranuthnoe, a pretty cove with the award-winning Victoria inn and Praa sands with its laid back beach bar and fantastic surf. Leave the car and grab the bikes left for guests use, its a great way of exploring the local area.

It’s a perfect spot for touring the wider West Cornwall too and St Ives Penzance, Mousehole and Sennen are all in easy reach as well as Porthleven to the east which is fast becoming a go to foodie destination.
