Summary

Mallards offers luxury self catering accommodation in Bude. The unique cottage in Cornwall is on the side of a canal and only half a mile from Bude. We are in a beautiful location and have our own private jetty and boat.

Accommodation

Mallards was once a steam laundry and before that a timber mill, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The cottage can sleep up to 8 adults plus 2 children under the age of 10.

Four bedrooms are available. The 1st bedroom is on the 1st floor of the cottage and has a double bed and the remaining 3 bedrooms can be found on the top floor. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a single bed, bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and bedroom 4 has a single bed.

The lounge is on the 1st floor of the holiday cottage and is a light, spacious room. You can enjoy wonderful views of the canal and surrounding countryside. The lounge has a smart TV, DVD player and a CD player as well as plenty of comfortable seating.

The kitchen/dining room is open plan and generously equipped. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, gas range cooker with 7 burners, 2 ovens and grill and a large fridge/freezer. A laundry room that has a full size washing machine and tumble dryer is also available.

Visiting Bude & Exploring Cornwall

Mallards is a perfect cottage for a relaxing stay with family or friends. A large choice of things to do are nearby. The beaches and town centre are so close that you don't need to drive anywhere if you don't want to. Older children can be largely independent. Bude is more easily accessible by car than most places in Cornwall, being just over an hour from Exeter and with traffic jams hardly ever a problem. A frequent express bus service from Exeter which has excellent rail and air links. Many places to explore are nearby:
