Gulval Cottages

Summary

Chyandaunce and Chyancrowse cottages offer self catering holiday accommodation and are situated in Gulval, Penzance, Cornwall. The cottages are just inland from Mount's Bay, where beautiful St Michael's Mount rises from the sea opposite the sandy beaches and cafes of Marazion.

Chyandaunce

This cottage has a very comfortable sitting room that has windows on three sides and the fourth wall is glass, meaning that the room is very bright. There are comfortable sofas and chairs and a bed settee. A bookcase complete with a large selection of books for use by guests, TV and DVD player are also in this room.

There is a separate dining room that is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery, this leads through to the kitchen and onto the garden.

The family bedroom can accommodate up to four people with one double bed and two bunk beds for children, fitted wardrobe, dressing table, storage heater and washbasin. The front bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and a storage heater. There is an en suite twin bedded room with a fitted wardrobe, built in dressing table and storage heater.

This bathroom has two lockable doors, one into the hallway and the other into the twin-bed bedroom – so the bathroom can be used either as an en suite, or as a family bathroom.

Chyancrowse

This cottage has a sitting and dining room with easy chairs, large server access to the kitchen, one comfortable bed chair, colour TV, table and chairs, equipped for four and you can see, down through the village, to the sea! The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge with freezer compartment, electric cooker and microwave.

The bedroom is very quiet and overlooks the garden. There is a double bed, chest of drawers, bedside table and light and a storage heater. There is a small bathroom including a toilet, wash basin and shower unit.

Local Area

Gulval is situated at the narrowest part of the peninsula which extends from St. Ives on the north coast and Penzance on the south coast to Land’s End. The Coastal Path is in easy reach, as are glorious coves and beaches, sites of archaeological interest, pretty villages and thriving towns.

Short breaks available out of season, minimum 3 night stays, enquire for details.
