Visiting Kinmel Bay & Exploring ConwyKinmel Bay is perfect for a seaside holiday. Mile after mile of sandy beach runs along the north coast at Kinmel Bay and Towyn. Kinmel Bay is a sandy beach that attracts watersports enthusiasts as well as paddlers and swimmers. Canoeing and windsurfing are popular and there’s an excellent kitesurfing centre with instruction and board hire. The beach is backed by a narrow promenade used by cyclists and walkers. Next to the promenade is the Kinmel Dunes Nature Reserve. This is home to a number of maritime plants such as the attractive sea holly and bird's foot trefoil. From Kinmel Dunes there are great views out to sea and clear days will show the Isle of Man and the Lake District. Many places to explore are nearby:
