Y Wern Country House offers wonderful self catering accommodation in the seaside town of Llanfairfechan. You can explore world-famous Snowdonia and a range of attractions in Conwy whilst staying with us.

Accommodation

Our stone house dates from 1730 and offers plenty of original character. Outside we have a large garden and 12 acres of gardens to enjoy. The house sleeps up to 8 people, ideal for a family or group holiday. Features include sash windows and antique furniture.

Inside there is a large entrance hall that can be used as a separate reception room. Unwind in the sitting room after a day of sightseeing. Facilities include a fireplace with a log burner, sofas, a TV with Netflix, a DVD player and multi-aspect windows that offer garden views. You can also relax in the snug which has a TV with Netflix.

The well-equipped farmhouse kitchen comes with a range of appliances and there is a separate dining room with seating for 8 people. A smaller table is in the breakfast room and a utility room is perfect for washing and drying clothes. Downstairs there is a cloakroom with a WC and handbasin.

Upstairs we have 4 bedrooms: 1 king en suite, 1 king, 1 double and 1 room with zip and link beds that can be made as 2 singles or a super-king. A family bathroom has a shower over bath.

Outside we have a large lawn with seating and a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining. There is a games room with table tennis.

Visting Llanfairfechan & Exploring Conwy

We are only a 20-minute stroll from the shops, The Village Inn and the beach. You can visit the cathedral town of Bangor or walk around Glan Mor Elias nature reserve. Menai Straits is perfect for sailing, windsurfing and fishing. Lots of golf courses are in the area. Attractions to visit include:

Surf Snowdonia.
Zip World.
Bodnant Garden.
Aber Falls.
Penrhyn Castle.
