Island House provides comfortable self catering accommodation within a tranquil setting on the shores of Eonish lake. Our farmhouse is only a short journey from Killeshandra in the county of Cavan. We are theideal destination for a relaxing break away.


Our farmhouse can accommodate up to 6 people. Inside there is a traditional Irish living room which has a TV and open fire.

The kitchen contains all the modern appliances expected of quality accommodation: including a fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher. A separate dining/living area offers guests space to unwind and enjoy their meals.

The house contains three bedrooms. There is a twin room and a double room upstairs and a third bedroom downstairs.

The area is one of outstanding natural beauty and serenity. Eonish is just one of the islands which can be found along the shores of picturesque Lough Oughter.

Island House is perfect for those seeking a break away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. You can relax and enjoy the uninterrupted views of this wonderful rural setting. All three bedrooms and sitting room are located at the front of the house and provide panoramic views of the lake and forest. For those who like to look at the water rather than be on it, we are ideall for golfing, walking and bird watching. The breathtaking scenery will give the artists and photographers amongst you plenty to do.
