Welcome to The Cottage, your idyllic retreat in the heart of the Wirral Peninsula. Nestled within the picturesque countryside, our self-catering guest house offers a unique and tranquil escape for groups of up to seven guests. With two super king/twin rooms, one large double suite, and a cozy single room, all featuring en-suite bathrooms, our cottage provides the perfect accommodation for a friendly gathering, a family reunion, or a peaceful retreat with your loved ones.

Bedrooms

HONEYCOMB: This large, ground floor bedroom in the Coach House is decorated in light colours and has plenty of natural light pouring through the skylights.

Honeycomb can have either twin beds or a super king bed and accommodates a lovely mahogany wardrobe and bedside tables. This luxurious room also has a desk area, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathroom.

There is also WiFi throughout all parts of the Coach House.

The traditionally tiled en-suite bathroom has an elegant slipper bath, with handheld shower and traditional style washbasin and toilet. To complete the luxury, this en-suite bathroom also has a colour TV so guests can enjoy their favourite programme whilst soaking in the bath!

FLORA : This large, ground floor bedroom in the Coach House is stylishly decorated in deep red and cream and has a splendid view of the garden with double doors that open onto its own patio area.
Flora can either have twin beds or a super king bed and also accommodates some beautiful walnut furniture. This luxurious room also comprises of a desk area, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite wet room.

There is also WiFi throughout all parts of the Coach House.

The en-suite wet room is decorated with stunning tiles and towel radiators, a traditional washbasin and toilet and extra large walk-in shower.

This en-suite wet room is also ideal for guests with disabilities as we have a variety of aids that can be installed such as; a raised toilet seat, grab rails and a frame surround with arms to place around the toilet. We can also offer guests the use of a Zimmer frame if required.
Flora room has achieved the Mobility Level 1 Award from Visit England.

BLOSSOM: This single, ground floor bedroom has a relaxing, comforting feel and is flooded with natural light. It is made up of shades of blues and creams and has lovely oak beams.

This room also accommodates a desk area, a specially designed and fitted oak wardrobe, a colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite.

There is also WiFi throughout all parts of the Coach House.

The beautifully appointed en-suite is bright and airy with elegant tiling, traditional style washbasin and toilet and large walk-in shower.

Blossom room has achieved the Mobility Level 1 Award from Visit England.

QUEEN BEE : This spacious bedroom on the first floor of the Coach House has a small lounge area, a king size, oak sleigh bed and an impressive stained glass window featuring a Queen Bee and colourful dragon fly which overlooks the chandelier at the top of the stairs.

The lounge in Queen Bee boasts brilliant views of the gardens and has a traditional vintage sofa, an antique desk, a colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. This room also has an en-suite bathroom and additional colour TVs in the bedroom and bathroom!

There is also WiFi throughout all parts of the Coach House.

The traditionally tiled en-suite bathroom has a key shaped bath with shower facilities over it, a traditional style washbasin and toilet and views over farmers' fields. You can even catch up with your favourite TV programme whilst having a soak!

This room is perfect for a weekend getaway or a mid-week break. Situated away from the rest of the bedrooms in the Coach House, you can feel right at home on your own floor.

Living Spaces

The Cottage is not just a place to rest your head; it's a home away from home. The cottage features a large country kitchen/dining room with a dining table that comfortably seats up to 12, perfect for cooking together and savouring delicious dishes in a relaxed, homely atmosphere.

The adjacent lounge area is equally spacious and cozy, with a terrace overlooking lush gardens and a tranquil pond area. Whether you prefer to curl up with a book, watch a movie, or simply enjoy the beautiful garden views, this living area is designed for comfort and relaxation.

Outdoor Oasis

Our cottage is surrounded by enchanting gardens that provide a soothing backdrop to your stay. The well-tended gardens feature a variety of plants, flowers, and trees that change with the seasons, ensuring a beautiful setting no matter when you visit. Stroll through the gardens, enjoy a picnic by the pond, or simply unwind on the terrace with a glass of wine.
