Summary

Once a historic estate, Waunifor now offers 6 homely self-catering holiday cottages full of character and unique features set in 4 acres of magical gardens and grounds including a duckpond, woodland copse and children’s play area. Close to the small town of Llandysul and on the borders of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion we are just 25 minutes from the beaches of Cardigan Bay and within easy reach of many attractions and outdoor activity centres.

Holiday Cottages

Our 6 traditional stone and slate cottages sleep from 2-10 people,giving accommodation for 36 in total so are ideal for large families and groups. We accept well behaved dogs and charge a small supplement.

All our accommodation is well appointed and most cottages have an open fire or wood-burner. The Longhouse has an enclosed gardens and the other cottages have courtyards or shared gardens. Barbecues are available on request. There is a coin operated laundry with washing machine and dryer on site.

We also have a purpose built pottery studio and offer ‘throwing on the wheel’ workshops as well as craft workshops (jewellery making, felt making, mosaics and bead making) and watercolours for beginners.

Coach House Mews

Elegant and light mews style cottage with 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people (1 double, 2 twins and 2 singles). Has 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen diner and cosy lounge with open fire.

Duckpond Holiday Cottage

Duckpond is a charming holiday cottage for two with one double bedroom, a bathroom with bath and shower and open plan lounge/kitchen. A sofa bed can also be installed in the lounge.

Robin Holiday Cottage

Robin Holiday Cottage is a delightful single storey holiday cottage that can accommodate up to four people. There are 3 bedrooms - 1 double bedroom and 2 singles, a shower room and a cosy lounge with kitchen and French windows opening on to the garden.

Stable Holiday Cottage

Stable Holiday Cottage is a homely character cottage offering self catering accommodation sleeping six people. There is a large lounge with woodburning stove, kitchen with dining area and there are three twin-bedded rooms a shower cubicle downstairs and upstairs bathroom.

Carriage Mews Holiday Cottage

A lovely new cottage blending traditional features with contemporary style accommodation. Large open plan lounge/kitchen with woodburning stove. Huge south facing feature window. Three large bedrooms one with double bed and two with 2 twin beds and a separate toilet and bathroom.

The Longhouse Holiday Cottage

The Long House is a stunning listed building soaked in history and character and was a key part of the historical Waunifor estate. It is spacious and can sleep up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms and features a huge inglenook fireplace, wood-burning stove, oak beams and panelled dining area and has 2 bathrooms plus a small kitchen and enclosed garden.

Location

As well as fishing, walking, climbing, bike riding and other outdoor activities there is a rich variety of local attractions both indoor and outdoor for the whole family to enjoy around the holiday cottages.
