1 Castle Terrace in Cullen is a fully modernized fisherman’s cottage on the Moray Firth coast. The cottage near Buckie is perfect for a relaxing coastal retreat.
AccommodationThe cottage comprises of a lounge/dining room, large kitchen, bathroom, a utility room and three bedrooms.
The lounge is provided with a TV and video. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, freezer and washing machine. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and the utility room has a drying space for clothes. One fairly large double bedroom is downstairs and a cot is also available. Two small bedrooms are upstairs: one twin and one single. Duvets and pillows are provided but not sheets, pillowcases or duvet covers. The cot has a mattress but no bed linen.
The cottage is double glazed and there are electric storage heaters in all the rooms. Hot water is provided by a demand gas heater. The costs for gas and electricity are included in the rent. Pets are not permitted in the cottage.
At the rear side of the property there are two small enclosed yards, one with a washing line. A public pavement runs along the front of the cottage and separates it from a small garden which slopes up to the main road. Parking is on the street immediately by the back gate. The cottage is close to the picturesque old harbour, beach and Cullen golf course.
Visiting Cullen & Exploring MorayCullen is situated on the Moray Firth coast, approximately sixty miles east of Inverness. The village is well provided with shops, hotels, pubs and cafes. Cullen is an ideal centre for visiting the Moray and Aberdeenshire coasts. Strathspey, the Malt Whisky Trail, castles, museums and numerous other attractions are all within comfortable driving distance. Ample opportunity exists for participating in outdoor activities such as fishing, golf, bowling and walking.
