Pinclanty Cottage at Minuntion offers self-catering accommodation in Pinmore, set amidst breathtaking Ayrshire countryside. Just a short distance from the Carrick coast, the cottage provides an excellent base for exploring Ayrshire and Galloway, with scenic landscapes, coastal walks and local attractions right on the doorstep.

Our cottage is situated on a working hill farm and sporting estate, boasting views of the upper Stinchar valley. We are great for families or outdoor lovers looking for somewhere special to stay.

On the ground floor, there is a fully-equipped kitchen which comes with a range of appliances for home-cooking: dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. Unwind in the cosy sitting room that comes with a TV, DVD player and toasty wood burner for those chilly days. On the ground floor, there is also a WC and a bathroom with a shower. You can also relax in the cosy snug room which has a TV and fold-out sofa bed and desk.

On the first floor, there is a double room and a twin room that share a bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with sun loungers and BBQ. On the front veranda, there is also seating, offering a delightful area for a glass of wine whilst enjoying the views of the river and the valley.

Only 4 miles away is the village of Barr, home to a tea room, art gallery, children’s playground and walking trails. The area is also perfect for cyclists, with lots of routes to enjoy. Only a short stroll away is the River Stinchar, offering a pool to swim in. Fishing can also be arranged in season. We are also near several golf courses, including ones at Prestwick and Turnberry. Attractions to visit include:

Ailsa Craig Lighthouse.
Bargany Gardens.
Castle Kennedy Gardens.
Galloway Forest Park.
