Inverfyne Cottage in Cairndow provides exceptional self-catering accommodation in a breathtaking location overlooking the tranquil estuary of the River Fyne. Perfectly positioned to capture panoramic views of Loch Fyne, this holiday cottage offers the ideal base for a relaxing getaway or an unforgettable break in the heart of Argyll, Scotland.
Set in a tranquil farmland position on a 4000-acre traditional country estate, the house is beautifully furnished and enjoys a country-style feel. Unwind in the cosy living room which has an open log fire, comfy seating and a TV. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen which comes with a range of excellent appliances. Enjoy a delicious feast around the large dining table. A glass door leads to the enclosed garden.
We have four bedrooms available. Downstairs there are two twin rooms and a family bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs there are 2 further bedrooms, a double and twin room, with both having countryside views. A bathroom is also on the upper floor.
Outside there is an enclosed garden, perfect for a morning coffee whilst admiring the views.
This area of the country is a haven for country lovers, with lots of cycling and walking routes in the area. There is also an abundance of wildlife, including red squirrels, otters, pine marten and deer. The area has lots of fishing spots and you can take a scenic ferry ride to the Isle of Bute or take a relaxed day trip to Oban. Further attractions to visit include:
