Morelaggan House offers luxurious self catering accommodation near the charming village of Arrochar. Set in the heart of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, we boast spectacular views across Loch Long and have large private gardens to enjoy. Our house in Argyll is only an hour’s drive from Glasgow and 20 minutes from Loch Lomond.
AccommodationOur superb property is ideal for families, friends, hillwalkers and outdoor lovers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. The views of The Cobbler and The Brack from our own private shoreline are truly stunning and a variety of picturesque walks are right on our doorstep. The house sleeps up to 9 adults plus 1 toddler and 1 baby and offers a cosy retreat in a gorgeous location.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious kitchen with an Aga, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and range of other appliances. The dining room seats 8 and can be extended to seat more. A Zepplin speaker for your laptop, iPad or iPhone is perfect for enjoying a few tunes whilst savouring some home-cooked food. A homely sitting room comes with a wood-burning stove, a baby grand piano, two large leather sofas, one leather armchair, surround sound 3D HD projector and large screen. There is an HD TV and DVD player with a choice of over 300 Blue Ray DVDs.
Two comfortable bedrooms are on the ground floor: a master king room with an open fire and a double room. Both rooms share a family bathroom with a shower. Upstairs there are two further twin rooms: one with 3 single beds and the other with 2 single beds. A bathroom comes with a bath, shower and WC.
Our delightful gardens come with a BBQ, garden furniture, trampoline, badminton net and racquets, sandpit and toys. The gardens are perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine whilst admiring the glorious view.
Visiting Arrochar & Exploring ArgyllThe quaint village of Arrochar is only 1.6 miles away and has a lovely pub and shop. Outdoor enthusiasts are spoilt for choice, with lots of scenic walks in the local area. The Arrochar Alps are a group of mountains located around the head of Loch Long which offer a more strenuous trail. West Loch Lomond Cycle Path is great for cyclists and Ben Vane offers fantastic mountain trails. Further attractions to visit include:
