Cross Farm Barn is a group of self catering holiday homes in the market town of Holmfirth. The charming town is near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. The cottages are nestled in the Holme Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
AccommodationCross Farm Barn has 3 cottages available. Two of our cottages sleep 4 people and boast a double room and a twin room. Our third cottage sleeps 2 in a double room. They have all been tastefully furnished whilst still retaining their rustic charm.
The kitchens have beautiful, original exposed beams and are well equipped with everything you will need during your stay. They have all the little bits and pieces any aspiring culinary master would need, so there’s no need to fill your suitcase up with kitchen utensils! From a coffee machine to carving knife, toaster to tea strainer, you should find everything you require.
All the lounges in our cottages are spacious and comfortable. Facilities include TV, radio, CD player, DVD and Wi-Fi. The biggest cottage has Sky TV, while the other two cottages have digital televisions. The lounges also include traditional window seats with soft cushions and furniture from Marks and Spencers.
The spacious bedrooms are made up ready for your arrival. All the rooms have wonderful views of the Pennines. Imagine waking up peacefully and drawing back the curtains to reveal the tranquillity of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside all around you. There’s nothing between you and miles and miles of green lush countryside, giving you the most amazing panoramic views.
All our beautiful bathrooms are fully tiled and include a WC & washbasin, deep bath, shower and lashings of constant hot water. Centrally heated rooms mean our clean, fluffy, bath towels are always warm and waiting for you to step into and wrap yourself up in.
