Kirkton farmhouse is located in the fertile limestone grassland of Inchnadamph (Gaelic for meadow of the stags) on the North Coast 500. This corner of the rugged North West Scottish Highlands is known for capturing hearts and souls with high numbers of regular return visitors. Inchnadamph is renowned for its beauty, geology, wildlife, fishing, historical sites, walking and caving but is equally suited to those looking for a family holiday or quick break. Enjoy the peace and quiet with views of Conival, Quinag and Canisp at the head of Loch Assynt where the deer regularly graze a few feet away. Fishing is available on Loch Assynt and other local lochs through Assynt Angling Club. Lochinver is a quick 13mile drive away and the nearest sandy beach is 15 miles (Achmelvich).

Facilities

The house sleeps 8/9. All linen, electricity, oil, phone and a starter bucket of fuel for the wood burner are included.

Available for weekly or shorter stays all year round.

• A separate study/play room equipped with toys, DVD’s and books, which can be used as bedroom with sofa bed for one.
• In the large dining country kitchen an oil-fired Rayburn runs the hot water, cooking and central heating and there is a gas hob and microwave/combination oven.
• The large back porch can accommodate jackets, boots and outdoor equipment complete with washing machine and tumble dryer.

• A family bathroom with toilet, bath and shower.

Upper Floor

• One double bedroom.
• Two twin bedrooms.

Grounds

• Ample private parking for cars.
• The large garden gives children plenty room to play away from quieter areas. Flower beds, seating and the vegetable plot host's fruit and vegetables for picking, when in season.
• Access to adjacent fenced field with immature woodland and paths covering 2 acres where dogs or children can freely roam.
