Our wonderful cottage is beautifully furnished and includes a delightful garden, ideal for relaxing in with a glass of wine whilst savouring the stunning view.

The cottage offers both space and character with exposed beams throughout. The living room comes with a huge inglenook fireplace, an extremely well-appointed large farmhouse kitchen, utility room and downstairs W.C. An exquisite sunroom (third bedroom if required) with double patio doors leads directly onto the riverside gardens.

Upstairs are two large bedrooms, including one double with an antique brass bed and a further well-furnished twin. A pretty central bath/shower room comes with a WC. All the rooms enjoy glorious views of the river and gardens.

Visiting Withypool & Exploring Somerset

Bridge Cottage is 200 yards from the local village shop and tearooms and 400 yards from the local pub, noted for good ales whilst serving excellent food in both the bar & restaurant. Seconds away from as much glorious walking as you can manage, or if you prefer, riding, fishing or Exmoor Safaris are all easily available.

Let yourself be absorbed by the magic and beauty of this cottage and the surrounding countryside of Withypool on Exmoor. Withypool is a quiet unspoilt village situated in a shallow part of the Barle valley in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. The village has a remote, upland character and is surrounded by open moorland, much of which is common land. There are excellent short and long walks in and around Withypool including the Two Moors Way that passes through the village. One of the most popular walks is a 4mile riverside stroll to Tarr Steps, with wonderful scenery.
