Bullen's Bank Cottage and Llangain Farm House & Barn all sit in an elevated position on the Herefordshire/Wales border near Hay on Wye. There are superb panoramic views over the Wye Valley and they all have character and charm. All the properties can be rented together and so large parties of up to 20 guests can be accommodated.

Llangain Farmhouse and Barn

Traditional features such as oak doors, flagstone floors and beams have all been restored to a high standard.

The Farmhouse - There is a spacious sitting room with log burner, TV, DVD player and comfy seating. The kitchen also has a log burner and all mod cons including cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a dining area with table and chairs. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with bath and shower and a ladder to take you to the fourth twin bedroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - a double, twin and bunk bedroom.

The Barn - The open plan accommodation comprises a living/kitchen area with flagstone floor, table and chairs, comfy seating, TV, piano and log burner. The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. The double gallery bedroom is accessed via a steep set of oak stairs and there is also a shower room with basin and WC.

The barn is normally rented along with the farmhouse but they may be available separately so please enquire.

Bullen's Bank Cottage

Bullen's Bank Cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two twin bedrooms and a double room. Downstairs there is a sitting room with woodburner, TV, DVD player, seating and dining table with chairs. There is a second sitting room which also has a woodburner, sofa bed for extra sleeping and another table and chairs. There are lots of stunning views from the cottage. The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside the garden has garden furniture including picnic tables and reclining chairs.

The Area

There is plenty to see and do in the area with something for all ages. There are lots of walking opportunities with the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park nearby. The River Wye provides greay kayaking and swimming and there is also pony trekking available close to Hay. Other places of interest include:

Hay Castle.
The Warren.
Clifford Castle.
Arthur's Stone.
Kington Museum.
