Waters Edge Holiday Cottage in Landshipping near Narberth, offers 5 star self catering accommodation in a superb location. Enjoying glorious views of the Cleddau Estuary, we are perfect for a memorable break in Pembrokeshire.
AccommodationOur fully equipped cottage has been tastefully converted and sleeps up to 6 people.
The new kitchen will suit all your needs. It is fully equipped and includes a cooker, microwave, new fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The view looks out to the estuary. This dining room has patio doors which open onto the garden. You can relax in the living room and admire far reaching views of the estuary. It comes with a vaulted ceiling, wood burning stove and folding doors to the garden. It is beautifully furnished with ornaments, original oil paintings and prints, shelves of books and a Hi-Fi with attachment for sound is provided. Off the living room is a snug with a comfortable settee, chairs and TV/DVD player.
Three bedrooms are available. One twin room is on the ground floor and comes with a TV and folding doors which overlook the estuary. We also have a new family bathroom and laundry facility with an AEG washer/dryer in the cupboard. Upstairs are two lovely double bedrooms with a new shower room (shower, washbasin and loo). All the bedrooms enjoy glorious views of the estuary.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
Folding doors open onto a covered sitting area with wooden garden furniture. We also provide a BBQ. The garden has a pretty summerhouse with additional furniture. This is an ideal spot for looking at the spectacular views. A small gate goes down the mown footpath to the foreshore.
Visiting Landshipping & Exploring PembrokshireThe tiny riverside hamlet of Landshipping is part of the famous Pembrokeshire National Park: Britain's first and only coastal National Park. Further afield in Narberth you can visit Narberth Museum. You can see historical artefacts, scale models, interpretive panels and interactive activities. Narberth Castle and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo are brilliant days out. Outdoor enthusiasts should visit Canaston Woods which is ideal for walking and cycling. Customer ReviewJust spent another wonderful week in this lovely cottage. There is always a warm and friendly welcome from the owners, Judy and Nigel. Everywhere is beautifully furnished, well equipped and maintained to an exceptional standard. If you can tear yourself away from the breathtaking views of the estuary, the surrounding area has much to offer - beautiful beaches and coastline, individual shops and great places to eat from snacks to fine dining. Customer ReviewSpent a really relaxing week away at this lovely cottage from March 17-24. Its very quiet and peaceful with stunning views. The owners were very nice and helpful and kindly had the log burner going for when we arrived along with a bottle of wine and some delicious home made short bread/cake. The cottage had everything we could possibly need. 29th March 2018
Customer Review Waters Edge is in the most peaceful spot you can imagine. Far more sheep than people, not even a shop in sight. When you wake the view you get from the bedroom window is utterly beautiful. Just the garden, field and then the water. So many lovely sunrises were experienced. 31st December 2017
